Mojito RestaurantCityPlace in West Palm Beach offers so many choices for dining, and PB Girls Dine was delighted to find this excellent restaurant on an August Sunday afternoon. Set on the Upper Level overlooking the Plaza at CityPlace, Mojito Latin Cuisine & Bar is a teeny bit difficult to find. Pass by the well-known City Cellar Wine Bar and Grille, and you’ll be greeted by Mojito’s hostess. One step inside and your biggest problem will be what kind of Mojito you’ll order!

Plan to linger over drinks and the small tasting plates — or tapas — as you take in the colorful decor and festive atmosphere. We sat inside, and sampled Mojitos with the restaurant’s fresh mint, and overdosed on spectacular homemade salsa and chips. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating and a lovely bar setting.

Getting back to the Mojitos . . . the selection includes an Original Mojito, Mango Mojito, Strawberry Mojito, Berry Mojito, Kiwi Apple Mojito, Watermelon Mojito, Coco Mojito, Tropical Mojito, Lychee Mojito, Ginseng Power Mojito and Peach Mojito.

Did we mention that Mojito Latin Cuisine & Bar uses home-grown mint snipped from their garden, and fresh fruit is delivered daily to the restaurant?

And, while you’re taking notes, be sure to jot down Mojito’s Happy Hour at the bar, daily from 4:30-6pm.

Mojito’s cuisine is a mix of Spanish, Peruvian, Cuban and Mexican . . . with a Mediterranean kick. PB Girls Dine went loco over the marinated shrimp tacos. If you are going the tapas route, you might want to share a taco or entreé. Please note: The dinner menu is excellent!

As the restaurant likes to say, “Enjoy and relax . . . It doesn’t get better than this.”
